Here are some little sketches done from The Empire Strikes Back. I'll be painting these in gouache here pretty soon. It was a fun exercise in shape design, since everything is so tiny. (Helps that I love the movie too!)

Quick post for this week

A quick post for today: a life study that's probably around 6 hours in with many more to go.

Today I saw two amazing shows: Masters of the American West at the Autry Museum, and the Syd Mead: Progressions exhibit at Forest Lawn. (which I had never been to and was amazing in itself! Couldn't find MJ though...)

Seeing so many masters of their craft was very humbling and inspiring. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend.
