I have been slacking in posts, but there's plenty more to show. These are some thumbnails I did some time back - the top is for a Sleepy Hollow scenario, the middle is for a busted drug deal, and the bottom is for a castle involving a staircase. This is the very preliminary stage of visual development, where it's more about finding the most interesting shapes. To be honest, these were harder to do...I might take a few of these and make some gouache comps out of them.
I spent a lot of time this week riding my Triumph Bonneville. Riding (or, learning to ride) a motorcycle isn't that far off from art - you must keep at it to get good. Unfortunately, that means I didn't get as much drawing and painting time in as I know I should have.
