Rocker

Here's the painting I did for my Dad for Christmas. A café racer with her Triumph Thruxton by the Ace Cafe.

I'll also include the drawing.

Boring reference...

...produces boring paintings.

An obvious lesson, but one I apparently needed repeated.

I did like the comps done for it though.

Some Watercolors

Three recent watercolors done for some family for Christmas. It felt like being back in George Zebot's watercolor class. Sometimes I miss those days.

"It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena." - Theodore Roosevelt

Astronauts

Some small drawings that I'll be painting this week.

M-M-M-MEGA POST

Yes, I have been slacking in posts (thanks Game of Thrones, which is oh so good).

First, the rough and final watercolor I did for my Grandmother's 80th Birthday.

Next, the train image that I have been sitting on to post. I should probably darken the lights receding in the background some.

And finally, an outer space painting that I need to finish very soon.

More sketches

What a fantastic and all too brief time I had in Texas. Hard to get back to "real life" after a vacation.
