These are color comps that I did for an illustration that I'm currently working on. They were done in gouache, which I'm trying to relearn.

A Birthday card I did for my cousin who is turning 8 and loves Cars. The logo didn't come out great, but I'm mostly satisfied with everything else.

More Watercolor Studies

More studies I've done - this time of things from Africa that my Dad brought me versus technology from today. I still remember George repeatedly rubbing the fabric in the final color painting - that was better to me than anything said. :)

Watercolor Setting

Some watercolor paintings I did a few months back but never got around to posting because they were far too difficult to piece together after scanning. (Thank you Erik & CS5!)

Anyway, these were locations studies I did on campus in front of the McIntosh building at different times of the day - starting with a black and white study, then morning, afternoon, and evening. I'm most pleased with the morning and especially evening study.
